EXPERIENCE AND ENGAGE THE OUTDOORS
The FISH HUNT EXPO was created and developed to launch a state wide expo to attract thousands of fishing and hunting enthusiasts to visit Waco and experience the latest in hunting and fishing products and services centralized in Waco.
The FISH HUNT EXPO was birthed due to the Waco Tourism Public Improvement District’s successful bid to secure Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour to compete on Lake Whitney (March 5-6th 2026) and the finals on Lake Waco (March 7-8th, 2026). This 4 day tournament features the best professional anglers in the nation competing for the first time publicly on local waters. MLF Bass Pro Tour is an ESPN televised event with millions of fans across the U.S. The official MLF activation will be located at Airport Park on Lake Waco.
Our goal is to launch the FISH HUNT EXPO in conjunction with the presence of MLF Bass Pro Tour in Waco. We will leverage their advertising and marketing to attract fans of fishing and hunting to travel to Waco and enjoy the EXPO. We believe strongly that this strategy substantially increases the ability to engage patrons outside of Waco to visit the EXPO simultaneously enjoying the MLF experience. The FISH HUNT EXPO will become an annual event to promote outdoors, fishing and hunting in the state of Texas.
